Remote support

Let CloudZH support work on your server for a limited time. You start it, you see it, you end it.

How it works

  1. In the dashboard: account menu at the top right → Remote support. Only administrators see it. On the server instead: sudo zh support access.
  2. Choose how long support may connect (1, 4, 24 or 72 hours) and what support may do, then confirm with your password.
  3. Give the code, for example K7QX-M2PA, to CloudZH support: in your support request, on Discord or by email. It works once.
  4. Support connects. A bar at the top of the dashboard shows it for as long as the session is open.

What support sees

You allowSupport gets
AlwaysA terminal on your server as your terminal user. sudo asks for that user's password.
Allow root accessThe terminal as root, with full access to the server. Only tick it when support asks for it.
Allow dashboard viewYour dashboard, read-only, with the rights of the account you choose under View as. Passwords, keys, tokens and email addresses are masked; files, the terminal and the credential vault stay closed.

You stay in control

  • Your server only connects outward to the license service. No port forwarding, also behind CGNAT.
  • Every input and output goes into a transcript on your server, readable only by root. Follow it live with sudo zh support watch.
  • End it any time with End now in the bar or the dialog, or with sudo zh support end. It also ends when the time is up or after 10 minutes without contact.
  • One session per server: a new code replaces the open session.
Only for CloudZH support

Give the code only to CloudZH support. Never share your password, license key or backup key.
