Promotion Terms

These terms apply to free license promotions that CloudZH announces on its official social media accounts: @CloudZH_app on X and u/CloudZH_app on Reddit (each a "Promotion Post"). By taking part, you agree to these terms.

1. Organizer

The promotions are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, X Corp. or Reddit, Inc.

2. How It Works

• The first eligible people who reply to the Promotion Post on X or comment on the Promotion Post on Reddit receive a free CloudZH license. The number of licenses per platform is stated in the Promotion Post.
• The order is determined by the time stamps shown by the platform. Only top-level replies or comments on the Promotion Post count.
• No purchase is necessary. Liking, reposting or following is welcome but not required.
• The promotion ends when all licenses for a platform have been claimed or at the end date stated in the Promotion Post, whichever comes first. We post a short note under the Promotion Post when all licenses are gone.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• One license per person. Only your first reply or comment counts.
• Your X account must be older than 3 months and your Reddit account older than 30 days, and both must show normal, genuine activity.
• We skip replies and comments that are deleted, edited to game the order, appear automated, come from accounts created or used for the purpose of entering, or come from people who have already received a free license from a CloudZH code or who already have a paid CloudZH license, unless the Promotion Post says otherwise. The next eligible person moves up.
• Using several accounts to enter is not allowed. All entries of that person are excluded, and licenses obtained this way may be revoked.

4. How You Receive Your License

• We send you a private message (DM) from the official account with a personal, single-use code, usually within 48 hours. Once your code is sent, we reply "DM'd" under your reply or comment, so you know to check your messages.
• We will never ask you for a password, payment details or any other code.
• Redeem the code by the date stated in the message, at least 14 days after we send it, at the link in the message (cloudzh.app/redeem/…). You need a CloudZH account with a verified email address. Disposable and relay email addresses (for example Hide My Email or Firefox Relay) cannot be used, and variants of the same address (such as name+promo@…) count as one person.
• If you do not respond or do not redeem the code in time, it expires and the next eligible person may receive a code instead.

5. The License

• CloudZH Pro for one server, valid for 365 days from redemption, free of charge.
• It does not renew automatically and you will not be charged. After it expires and a short grace period, your server switches to restricted mode unless you buy a subscription.
• The license is personal and not transferable. It cannot be exchanged for cash or for another product.
• Our Terms of Service apply to the use of CloudZH, except for the provisions on payment.

6. Changes and Ending the Promotion

We may end, suspend or change a promotion if it is affected by abuse, technical problems or other circumstances beyond our control. We decide on eligibility in good faith, based on what is visible on the platform at the time.

7. Privacy

To run a promotion, we use your public username, the time of your reply or comment, the messages we exchange with you and, when you redeem the code, your email address. We use this information only to deliver the license and to prevent abuse. Our Privacy Policy applies.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you have your habitual residence.
